The Children's Rainforest is a Canadian charity (n 0997965-59) whose mission is to work on specific educational and preservation programs in the tropics. It is supported mostly, by students and teachers. Corporations and individuals have also funded the work of the Children's Rainforest. As part of its educational commitment, C.R.C. offers opportunities to visit and even do volunteer work in these places.

WHAT WE DO:
- help create bio-reserves in various tropical countries, through land purchases in ecologically rich areas
- help in the creation of educational and research centers based in those reserves
HOW THIS IS DONE:
- Funds raised by school-based environment clubs in Sweden, England, Germany, the U.S.A. and Canada, are used to purchase forests and set up educational programs.
- Funds donated by individuals, industries, and foundations are of great help.
